Virat Kohlis reaction on Rohit Sharmas 264 vs Srilanka

Virat Kohli debuted a year after Rohit Sharma. Yet they have played almost the same number of ODIs.
Let's compare their stats:
Head Mts - Inn - Runs - Average - HS - 100 -50
Kohli 119 - 113 - 4919 - 51.77 - 183 - 17 - 26
Rohit 108 - 103 - 3049 - 36.73 - 209 - 04 - 19

It just shows how wasteful Rohit Sharma has been. It does not show potential or talent that Rohit Sharma has. I'm sorry for all those "fans" who have no idea of the talent Rohit Sharma has. They need to watch cricket and not just read the scores and stats.

I've always appreciated Rohit Sharma's talent. The commentators never get tired of speaking of the time he has to play a shot whatever the speed of the bowler be. It was about time he converted that talent to performances like the one he produced yesterday against Australia at Bangalore.

To be honest, I did not expect a double hundred from him. Not so soon. The fact that he did get it makes me happy. What was really great was how he paced his innings. He could have easily been affected by the Virat Kohli run out and taken extra risks to overcompensate for that. Instead, he built his innings slowly getting to 50 in 70 balls. Getting to 100 in 40 more and the next 100 in just another 40.

I just hope he continues to perform the same way and doesn't go back to his old ways of throwing away his wicket.
